The Consular and Visa Section of the German Embassy Dhaka can only be visited by appointment from Sunday to Thursday.

Kindly also keep in mind the time difference between Germany and Bangladesh.

In case of emergencies for mainly German citizens within our consular district: Post office hours, our emergency phone number + 0880 1711 564 588 can be reached from Sunday to Thursday from 3.30. p.m. to 12 a.m. and on weekends and holidays from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m.

Please note that visa inquiries DO NOT qualify as emergencies and cannot be answered.
Please note that the people handling the emergency phone line do not speak Bangla.
