Visa fees are payable in BDT only (may vary according to the Embassy’s exchange rate).

The fees are fixed in Euro – therefore the equivalent in Bangladeshi currency may vary according to the exchange rate.

The complete fee has to be paid upon application and will not be refunded even if the visa pplication is rejected.
Schengen Visa (including transit and airport transit): 90.00 Euro
For children (aged between 6-11): 45.00 Euro

National Visa (visa with a validity of more than 90 days): 75.00 Euro
For children (aged between 0-17): 37.50 Euro

Please note:

In all those cases, in which document verification is necessary, an additional fee of 28,000/- BDT is applicable.

The following persons will be exempted from Schengen Visa fees:

• Children under 6 years of age
  
• School students as well as accompanying teachers on a study or educational trip
  
• Guest scientists travelling to Germany for research
  
• Exhibitors at German trade fairs and exhibitions holding an original exhibitor’s pass
  
• Spouses and minor children of German citizens as well as parents to minor German nationals
  
• EU nationals, provided they enjoy freedom of movement
  

The following persons will be exempted from National Visa fees (not document verification fee):

• Students receiving a scholarship from public funds
  
• Members of the diplomatic missions, consular posts and international organizations in Germany
  
• Spouses and minor children of German citizens as well as parents to minor German nationals
  
• EU nationals, provided they enjoy freedom of movement
